  Epiphone, currently one of the leading manufacturers of guitars is famous for its unique and stylish designs that generate high quality musical notes. Initially made by a company started in 1837 by A Stathopoulo, the instruments produced that time had the name of A Stathopoulo. The founder was the son of a merchant who thought differently and designed several musical instruments like violins, lutes and another old Greek musical instrument.
  By the year 1917 the company started getting the name of the House of Stathopoulo which was changed by the son of the founder; Epimanonodas Stathopoulo. However he just reached an age of 22 years when he had completed his two year management of the company after his father’s death.
